Why does this movie seem to have disappeared from the earth since its release in 1933 for so many years. After reading it, I still feel confused due to the efforts of Wade Williams Company, but I have a theory. In 1933, the law was enacted, covering almost all issues of sex and violence in Hollywood. Although 'The Great Flood' is not an explicit movie, it does quite candidly address issues of sex, desire, and rape. I want to know if RKO has discovered that they have a movie that cannot be re released, like the legendary lost Warner Bros. comedy 'Conference City'. Unfortunately, although this is an outdated movie, I found it very unique and surprising in this era, and in an era where movies have become a cookie byproduct of studio machines, it has successfully created something different (note that not many cookies are bad to eat). Although the only available copy in this article has been translated into Italian, I do not see this as a barrier. The subtitles of this movie are well done, and most of it is visual.
